A timeless masterpiece reborn to captivate and inspire
Acquae is more than an installation; it's an artistic statement that combines futuristic design with functional elegance. Designed by the visionary Jan Kaplický, Acquae stands as a symbol of innovation, creativity, and extraordinary craftsmanship.
VISIONARY
DESIGN
Each element of Acquae reflects Kaplický's iconic design language — bold, futuristic, and organic. Its stainless steel structure, sculpted in the form of a droplet, creates a striking visual presence while blending seamlessly with its environment.
Unique
materiality
The Acquae installation is a perfect example of expressive materiality. Its stainless steel surface, perforated with cylindrical compartments, is both functional and symbolic — designed to hold bottles, originally for water, now creatively adapted for champagne and wine in its modern iteration.
Iconic
History
First exhibited at the Milan Triennale in 2004 as part of the Dining Street Design event, Acquae disappeared into obscurity until rediscovered by architect Norman Foster. Describing it as “ambiguous, futuristic, debauched, beautiful, and sexy,” Foster's words encapsulate the timeless allure of this masterpiece.
Following an extensive and meticulous restoration under the supervision of Eliška Kaplický, Acquae was unveiled once more at the Sculpture Line Festival in Prague's Bastion Garden and Restaurant, where it proudly stands as a symbol of Czech creativity and global architectural innovation.

The Perfect Centrepiece
Acquae's sleek design and captivating form make it ideal for exclusive rentals, offering a powerful visual and experiential statement. Its innovative compartment system makes it a stunning bar installation — a conversation piece that elevates every gathering.
